# Novovibe

> Novovibe is a guide to newly opened places to eat, drink, sleep, shop and visit, logged around the day they open. It currently covers 25,726 places across 1,419 cities in 157 countries. Every place page has an address, coordinates, opening date, a short editorial story and, where known, the website and Instagram handle.

Content is hand-curated editorial, not user reviews. Opening dates are real dates; a place is listed because it is new, not because it is popular.

## What the site is

Novovibe answers one question: what has just opened near a given city, and is it worth a visit? It is aimed at locals who want to know what is new in their own town and at travellers who want the current scene rather than the established classics. Each listing is a short piece of editorial (a tagline, a story of a few paragraphs, a handful of practical tips) written around the opening, with the address, coordinates, category, neighbourhood, website, Instagram handle and, where the place offers it, a link to book a table.

How the site is organised, top down:

- Countries: 157, each with its own page listing its cities.
- Cities: 1,419, each with a page of the newest places, a map, and its neighbourhoods.
- Categories: six fixed ones (restaurants, bars, breakfast and brunch, shops, hotels, culture) that cut across every city.
- Places: 25,726 listings, the leaf pages and the bulk of the site.

Site-wide features: an Upcoming feed of the latest openings, an Opening soon feed of announced places, per-visitor favourites (kept in the browser, no accounts), a newsletter, a form to suggest a new opening, a feedback link on every place page, and a separate owner app (my.novovibe.com) where a venue owner can claim and maintain their own listing. There are no user reviews, ratings or rankings.

## URL structure

Every page lives under a language prefix. Active languages: en, es, fr, nl. English is the default; pages in other languages fall back to English content where a translation is missing.

Both answer single lookups with short lists (at most twelve places per search, twenty five per feed). Harvesting, mirroring, reselling or training on the listings without asking first is not allowed. Link back to the page a listing came from. Beyond those and the sitemaps there is no other public API; pages are plain server-rendered HTML with schema.org JSON-LD structured data on every page.
