Je loopt niet zomaar Gabala Cafe binnen, je rijdt erheen. De kabelbaan van Tufandag brengt je 1.600 meter omhoog vanaf de vallei, en het terras boven is de hele reden om te gaan. Samovar-thee en gebak vormen het aanbod, geen volledig menu.
Het sluit om 17.00 uur, vroeger dan de meeste plekken in de stad. Zie het dus als een pauze tussen ski-afdalingen of een wandeling door, niet als etentje.
