Une guitare de 200 mètres où se dressait le Mirage

Le Mirage a fermé le 17 juillet 2024 après 35 ans. Le resort de Wynn (1989) avait inventé le mégaresort du Strip. Hard Rock International, de la tribu séminole de Floride, a racheté le terrain et investit des milliards dans la reconstruction.

La pièce maîtresse : une tour guitare de 200 mètres, un clin d'œil à Hollywood. Elle ajoute environ 600 chambres à la tour Mirage d'origine reconstruite. Le chantier a dépassé la moitié début 2026, ouverture prévue fin 2027.

Bon à savoir

• Not open yet - the target is early in the fourth quarter of 2027. The guitar-shaped tower is already visible from most of the Strip.
• The original Mirage tower and its rainforest atrium are being kept and refurbished, so the volcano is gone but the bones of the 1989 resort survive.
