Asian, European and Angolan plates on the bay

Malamu sits on the Baía de Luanda promenade, across from Shopping Fortaleza, mixing Asian, European and Angolan dishes in one dining room. It's one of the few spots on the strip open from breakfast straight through to late night drinks and shisha.

The long hours make it a default for business meetups on the bay, part of how this stretch of waterfront has become more than just a tourist walk.

Very nice and quiet calm place, one of the best places in Luanda to have a drink or to eat something while you are enjoying the nice music.. prices are very affordable and reasonable...food, service, atmosphere are 10/10.. I highly recommend this place..

It’s a really nice place to chill. You can grab some tasty food, enjoy a good cocktail, and if you like hookah, they do it well here. The café’s right by the water, so you get a fresh ocean breeze and a laid-back vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a cool spot to mix up your free time in Luanda.

It’s nice, like the decoration and food was really good, the only thing is that it took long to be prepared, but other then that, it’s a vibe a super chill place to go with some friends

Malamu is situated on the Marginal, nice & spacious outdoor seating. They serve not so traditional food with a focus on Asian cuisine. I applaud Malamu for trying a menu with different dishes yet it requires a better effort for some. For instance, it is clear ingredients are not picked because of suitability but affordability (e.g A Bibimbap with Basmati rice?). There is potential but don’t come here for outstanding food.
