For developers

The same data is available as a plain JSON API, free and without a key. One lookup per call, at most twelve places per query.

Fair use

Both the MCP server and the API answer single lookups with short lists. They exist so an assistant can find a place and link to it. Harvesting the listings, mirroring the catalogue, reselling the data or training on it without asking first is not allowed. Link back to the page you took a listing from.
