Cookies
The short version
Right now Novovibe sets no cookies of its own: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The only cookies that reach your browser are the ones Cloudflare needs to keep the site safe, described below, and those need no consent. That is why there is no consent banner. If this ever changes, this page says so first and anything that needs your permission will ask for it.
What the site stores on your device
Nothing, unless you save a place. Saved places are kept in your browser's local storage, on your own device, and are never sent to us, which is why they do not follow you to another browser or another phone. Clearing your browser data removes them. This storage exists only to provide the feature you asked for by saving something.
Cookies set by Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which filters out attacks and automated traffic before requests reach the server. To do that Cloudflare may set a cookie of its own, usually __cf_bm, which distinguishes a browser from a bot and expires after about half an hour, and cf_clearance after a security check has been passed.
These are strictly necessary for the security of the service, are not used for advertising or profiling, and under article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, implemented in the Netherlands in article 11.7a of the Telecommunicatiewet, require no consent.
Form pages
Pages with a form load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. The widget loads from challenges.cloudflare.com and can set storage of its own for the duration of that check. It is not an advertising or tracking product, and it is loaded only on pages that have a form, not on ordinary pages.
What is not here
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party analytics, such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel.
- No social media tracking pixels or embedded like buttons.
- No cross-site tracking, of any kind.
Blocking it anyway
You are free to block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The site keeps working: the only thing you lose is the list of places you saved. How you handle your own data is covered by the privacy policy.
Changes
If this ever changes (if the site starts using analytics, for instance) it is written here first, and anything that requires consent will ask for it. Last updated 15 August 2026.
