Specialty coffee right on the Peatonal
Martín Cruz and Federico Álvarez run their Entre Dos coffee brand out of a room on Peatonal Sarmiento, the busiest walking street in Mendoza. Grab a bag of beans to take home.
There's a pastry counter alongside the coffee. The outdoor tables are the ones worth waiting for.

The food and coffee were good overall, although I’ve had better mocachinos at other coffee shops. The avocado toast with eggs was tasty, especially after adding a little salt, pepper, and olive oil, but I was surprised by how small the portion was compared with similar places I’ve visited. The backyard was probably my favorite part. It has a really pretty, almost forest-like feel, with a lemon tree that attracts lots of birds. It gave the whole space a charming, almost storybook atmosphere. The one thing that could definitely use some attention is the bathroom. There was only one stall for the entire coffee shop, and there wasn’t any soap when we visited. Overall, it was a nice experience and everything was good, but considering the portion sizes and the coffee compared with other places I’ve tried, I probably expected a little more.

Very nice place. Set up for your enjoyment. They have excellent coffee. And the menus they present are very well done. They serve you the best. At a very good price.

We visited this café and took the opportunity to have breakfast. We ordered a special for two for 22,000 pesos, and it was fantastic—delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The special included four slices of toast, a cream (I think it was mascarpone), avocado with cream, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, coffee (we ordered cappuccinos), orange juice, and two alfajores, which you could choose from a wide variety. We ordered the Premium ones for an additional 500 pesos, but it wasn't necessary. I highly recommend it; everything was delicious. It's worth it.

I’m usually there for an omelette in the mornings, or Tarta de Pollo at lunch time. Good most days, but showed up for a late lunch today (5pm) and apparently when you complain about being served an obviously burnt, dry Tarta with cheese hiding the burn, the chef’s revenge is to return another dry Tarta with no cheese at all. What a way to treat a customer, but especially a frequent one.
