The strip runs beside the university, so the crowd is young and the prices stay reasonable. Both Broadsheet and the WA Good Food Guide singled it out as one of the year's best new openings.

Absolutely loved my experience at Masa Mesa! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and you can really tell everything is made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. A special thank you to Chef Gabriel for taking such great care of our table. He took the time to explain each dish, the ingredients, and the inspiration behind them, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and memorable. His passion for food and genuine hospitality really stood out. If you’re looking for authentic Latin American food in Perth, I highly recommend Masa Mesa. I’ll definitely be back!

We had delicious guac and corn chips, beef empanadas and pork pupusas, the pupusas were the highlight. It’s so great to find an authentic Latin American restaurant, we will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Had an amazing experience at Masa Mesa! The food was absolutely delicious (¡Rico!) The service was excellent, and my meal arrived so quickly. It was my first time trying Latin American cuisine, and I absolutely loved it. Everything was full of flavour, and the whole experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Latin American food (Mexican, Peruvian, Argentinian, El Salvador). I can personally vouch for the Pork Carnitas tacos 🤤 the Grilled Corn and the churros - this tastes like home in Mexico. This is our second visit and we had the Argentinian style Beef Asado Empanadas this time - they were delicious! And the Pork pupusas. Both recommended. The cocktails too were incredible!! The Horchata Borracha (this is a much improved Mexican beverage, as we normally have it with no alcohol - that tastes similar to rice pudding, slightly sweet and very delicious) and the Spicy Hibiscus Margarita cocktail (special) was 👌 excellent. I was mind blown by the churros in this place. I have never tried ones like these… ever… anywhere. They were clearly made there in the spot… so soft and airy in the inside and crunchy on the outside, perfect level of sweetness to still be able to dip them on the chocolate sauce… what a great wrap up of such a delicious dinner. My ideal dinner order of this place (so far): Entree - Spicy Hibiscus Margarita - Grilled Corn Main - Pork Carnitas Tacos - Argentinian Beef Empanadas Dessert - Churros (desert) with an Horchata Borracha - Horchata Borracha But… I am yet to try more dishes 😉

Work lunch here today. Had the lamb queso birria tacos and spiced rice. Oh my goodness the tacos were sensational. Nice accompanying spiced rice also. Colleagues had grilled chicken, pork belly and empanadas with rave reviews also. Great service and a fabulous meal. Will definitely be back!
