Caribbean Brushstrokes

A Caribbean art collection turned gallery, and everything's for sale
Rae Skinner spent years buying art from across the region before turning that personal collection into a gallery upstairs at Pelican Village. Painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, jewellery and even tattoo art hang side by side, all by Barbadian and wider Caribbean artists.
Shows rotate every few weeks. 'The Ties That Bind' ran through summer, the Barbados Photographic Society brought 'Black & White Moments,' and the National Cultural Foundation launched its Visual Arts Fellowship here. Between exhibitions expect artist talks, spoken word and jazz nights. Everything on the walls can go home with you.

Beautiful art, comfortable café, spacious and has a washroom access. Is located up a outdoor flight of stairs, so access may be hard for some.

If you're into art, then this gallery will excite you. There's art not just on the walls but in quaint coners. To top of the experience, there is cute café with some delicious pastries. 💕💐
