A lingerie brand's coffee side-project, done right
Café Vela grew out of Maison Vela, sharing the lingerie brand's building in Montignies-sur-Sambre. It plays more like a tasting salon than a straightforward café, with matcha and ube lattes next to a proper pour-over coffee program.
It only opens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 11am to 5pm. Go for the ube latte and treat the rest as a bonus.

A lovely little spot in a grand house, small and somewhat intimate. I had a rose matcha tea and a special cherry macaron, which was excellent. We were alone and felt a little neglected, but this didn't detract from the enjoyment at all.
