Uyuni sits at 3,656 meters and nights on the salt flats drop well below freezing. A poncho here costs a fair price for a genuine piece, not a cheap souvenir. It's the Uyuni branch of a Bolivian knitwear brand with decades in the export trade, running alongside its home base in La Paz.
