Wine shop by day, lunch counter in between

Skip the bottle shop routine. At Wines and More, in the Lourdes Shopping Mall, you can pick a bottle off the shelf and sit down to lunch with it the same afternoon, small bites and catering menus included.

It only runs weekdays, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, so it plays a different game than the weekend bars nearby. Think weekday wine stop, not Friday night plans.

This small, unassuming spot serves very good food at a reasonable price. It's a refreshing change from the norm in Bonaire which is divided between ultra fancy places and very basic eateries. I will visit again when I return to the island.

After my fifth time eating at Wines and More and having an amazing experience every time, I had to write a review. Each meal has been fantastic, obviously prepared with great care, and served with a warm smile. The wine pairing recommendations have been spot on as well. It is now on my top recommendations list!
