Skip the moody speakeasy look. Bergamotta goes the other way with tropical neon splashed across the room on Vicente Machado, loud by design.
The kitchen backs it up with burgers and tapioca dumplings stuffed with shrimp. It's a short walk from three other bars that opened the same year, so bar-hop the strip if one gets too packed.

Bar Bergamotta pleasantly surprised me! The atmosphere is tranquil, very beautiful, and carefully decorated, creating a cozy ambiance. The service also deserves special mention. Excellent atmosphere! Very good quality music. Very pleasant environment. Excellent service and the best "carne de onça" (raw beef dish) I've had in Curitiba! Attendant Éverton was very quick and attentive!
