Coffee at dawn, wine by dusk, same room
Cafezana runs on a switch: coffee and fresh-baked bread in the morning, wine come evening, out of one small room on the road south. The bread is baked on site, so time it early if you want it warm.
This is a driving stop, not a walking one. Pull over on your way down the island rather than trying to reach it on foot.

Lots of choices and nice atmosphere. Prices could be cheaper given the location. Barely any parking. Outdoor seating available. Bread and other stuff to take home. Be aware at the end as they do not provide a receipt - I asked and did not get one - and charge a service fee without any prior notice.

Fantastic pastries -- the best croissants I've had on the island this far. We ordered regular croissants, chocolate croissants, 4 different cookies (chocolate with white chocolate chip, double chocolate, red Velvet, and pistachio), and 3 different muffins (blueberry lemon, chocolate carrot, and cinnamon cardamom apple). As mentioned the croissants were fantastic--airy and flaky. The cookies were all delicious. The blueberry and lemon muffin was perfectly moist. The chocolate and carrot could have used a little more moisture and the cinnamon, etc could have used a little more spice to amp up the flavor. Friendly and helpful staff that spoke English 😁🙏🏻
