Airon Martin's first Rio store, inside a real house
Furniture, clothes and accessories share one room here, treated like a single idea instead of three departments. Airon Martin built Misci into one of Brazil's most watched labels by pulling shapes and materials from outside the São Paulo-Rio axis, and this shop, set in a house on Rua Garcia d'Ávila, puts that thinking on full display.
Skipping a mall unit was deliberate. Martin wants street retail in Rio to stay creative rather than fold into chain storefronts. Misci landed the same season as Panô and Zerezes, part of a wave of Brazilian brands reshaping what this street sells.
Good to know
- Misci makes furniture as well as clothes - the pieces in the room are usually for sale too.
