Strawberry latte and a mortadella sandwich worth the detour
The mortadella sandwich here gets more care than a bar snack usually deserves, and the strawberry latte is the other reason people line up on Jaguaribe. Mariana Akamine and Felipe Esteves run the room.
It's small, a few tables, most people just grab it and go. Santa Cecília has three or four of these new cafés within a block now. Start with this one.

Comfortable atmosphere. There's no table service, but the food comes out quickly if you order at the counter. They sell some things like earrings, chai, and necklaces, which are interesting to see. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was good. The price is okay for the food offered and considering the location.

Randomly stopped by this cafe to have a cappuccino and two pão de queijo, everything was delicious. The pão de queijo has flakes of seaweed on it, giving it this wonderful touch of umami. If you're in the area and craving coffee you can't go wrong here!
