The piano bar under Alpen, packed by 10pm

Skip the crossroads bars for something slower. Bar Canto sits in the basement below Alpen restaurant on Stragite Street, a single room holding about 120 people around the bar and a small stage.

Weekend sets rotate through pianists and singers, Anton Kottas among them, and the crowd is half Alpen diners heading downstairs, half skiers looking for a quieter night. Book ahead, the room fills fast once a set starts.
