Ask around Mile 2 for a late dinner spot and City Bistro comes up fast, a lounge that runs Cameroonian and international plates from lunch straight through the late-night crowd. The fusion menu is the draw over any single dish, useful when a group can't agree on one cuisine.

It sits on New Road near Mile 2, close enough to walk to from most of that end of town. Go later in the evening when the lounge side takes over from the dinner crowd.
