One Bastos address, three different moods a day

Tassa hides behind Usine Bastos, right at the entrance to the diplomatic security compound. The menu runs salads, tapas, grillades and burgers, and the room shifts with the clock: a casual lunch spot at noon, an aperitif terrace by early evening, a proper dinner room later.

It's not on a main Bastos strip, so it's stayed a word-of-mouth pick rather than a walk-in one. Worth knowing before you go looking for it.

I used to pass in front of this one, like everyday, without knowing it was such a gem. Beautifully designed, with the glass see through roof. It’s like sitting in an open space. The food was also good. They have a large selection of good meals. If you are lucky like me, you will be there when they are hosting one of those jazz concerts 🤩. Not sure when they do that but I enjoyed the one they were hosting the time I was there. The only downsides I can think of are the service (a little slow) and the prices (kinda expensive).

The place is nicely decorated with this transparent roof top giving some beauty in daylight. *the variety in the menu is impressive *Waiting time 30 minutes max *Plus they have a whole menu card only for tea!! Great ambience!!
