Danish design and pastry on Rue Saint-Paul
Apotek runs Danish design and a pastry case to match on Rue Saint-Paul in the antiques stretch of the lower town. The team behind Café Olive built it, and it has become the default recommendation for coffee in the old town.

Great food and delicious coffee. The staff were friendly, although the service could have been a little faster. The atmosphere was okay, but there’s room for improvement. Overall, I had a good experience and would come back.”

I very rarely review places. But I recently traveled to Quebec City from Florida and was blown away by this place. Absolute perfection. The cardamom bun was one of the best pastries I've ever had in my life. The Danish breakfast was superb, especially their poppy seed bread. I was skeptical about the matcha since they said it was pre-sweetened but it turned out to be extremely good and high-quality. Incredible canele and pan suisse too. On our way out, we asked the barista for help getting to our next location and he was very friendly and took the time to offer advice about where to go. Great vibes and long line which speaks to its popularity. I wish I lived closer!

Great Way to Start the Day! Coffee and Latte was yummy but the pastries are the start of the show. So good and made with care and professionalism. But as we know quality comes at a cost. We spent over $35 for this picture...

The setting of this cafe is super aesthetically pleasing and amazing to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I believe this place is great at hot drinks and latte art. I did try the iced latte with maple syrup and it was delicious. Not too sweet, and perfect amount of coffee flavor. It had one ice cube and came in a glass cup to dine in. I really enjoyed the jazz/house music they played and how artistic and modern this cafe was with a warehouse/minimalistic vibe. There wasn’t even a sign or name of the place, we just walked right in.
