Vancouver Opened 30 August 2024

Article's first physical store, after a decade online only

Article sold furniture online only for over a decade before opening this Strathcona warehouse, room sized vignettes you can sit in before ordering. It worked: 47 percent revenue growth in the Vancouver market the following year, and the brand's first US stores followed soon after.

This is the original store, in the city the brand was founded in. It sits on a stretch of East Hastings filling up with design studios and roasteries.

Good to know

• Free parking on site, which is rare for a furniture showroom this close to downtown.
• Open 10am to 6pm daily; stock on the floor is a sample of the catalogue, with orders shipped.
