Montreal's all-day breakfast bistro lands in Victoria

Order pancakes at 9pm at Café Dépôt and nobody blinks. The Montreal chain runs breakfast all day alongside pizza, pasta and a wine list. It reads more bistro than coffee counter despite the name.

It took over a former Money Mart unit on Douglas Street, the chain's first stop west of Ontario. Hours run long into the evening, useful once the rest of downtown starts closing.
