Grab a coffee under the old marble of what used to be the Banco Francés e Italiano, a heritage building still mid-restoration on Prat. The bones of the old bank are still visible, and that's the point.

The place is very nice aesthetically. Several colleagues had recommended it to me. Unfortunately, I ordered the set menu, which was tomato stew, and it only came with two cubes of meat. I ordered it with rice, and the rice was salty. It was so salty that I had to ask them to change it for mashed potatoes, which was better. I think a set menu for that price should have an adequate portion of protein, which wasn't the case for me. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. Because of this impression, and also because the food wasn't enough for the price. I went with a friend, and she had the same experience, since we ate the same thing.

Aesthetically, it's a very nice place. I ordered a set menu (tomaticán), and I must say it was meager; that doesn't even begin to describe what I think of the dish. Four tiny pieces of meat, and the rest was vegetables. I would have been better off ordering a salad. I don't know what their other menu items are like, but with this first impression, I wouldn't return or recommend it. There are other places nearby where you can eat much better for 5,000 pesos.

I stumbled upon this amazing place, with the Crisis bookstore, a photography exhibit, a Mortal Kombat pinball machine (no coins required), and on top of that, an affordable and delicious menu. A gem. A craft shop and bar. We had a great time. After drinks, a delicious coffee with pie. My new favorite spot, congratulations!
