Zensato Café

Two blocks from the mall, quiet on purpose

ZenSato sits on 12 Norte, two blocks from Mall Marina, and skips the noise both the mall and the beach crowd bring. The name says it: calm, not volume.

Viña's café scene clusters around those two poles. This one sits between them on purpose and pulls neither crowd, which is exactly the point.

Everything was really good! Food and service exceptional and the place is gorgeous 😋

I just wanted to comment that charging $5,200 for this small piece of lemon pie is excessive. I understand that there has to be a profit, but I think it's one of the most expensive and smallest pieces I've ever bought from cafes in Viña.

Nice place, pleasant terrace, good coffee, but the service was terrible. I was served by two people who simply took my order and carried it away...they didn't say hello, didn't come to the table to ask if I wanted anything else. They disappeared! I had to go to the register to pay the bill.

The place is very nice, and the service is excellent. I tried the sugar-free chocolate cake, the Barros Luco ciabatta, and the cappuccino. I didn't like the cake very much; the bread didn't have much flavor, and there was no option to add flavorings to the cappuccino, which was a big drawback. I can't generalize because I've only been once and didn't try the traditional pastries, which looked delicious, but this is my honest opinion after my visit.

Great experience. It's good that they're opening better places in the eastern part of the city. We ordered some delicious eggs with sourdough toast and some French toast. We'll be back. Highly recommended.
