Handmade jewellery and ceramics at the Pelada turn-off

Pacifica sits 200 metres west of the main road at the turn-off to Playa Pelada. The stock leans jewellery and ceramics, plus woven pieces, art and beachwear. Most of it is made by Costa Rican hands.

Travelers name it when they want something from Pelada rather than Guiones. The owners also host occasional evening events, art openings and small launches posted on Instagram a few days out.

This little shop is a MUST! It's exactly what you are hoping to find while exploring Nosara and Costa Rica. Everything in the shop is unique. My wife and I have visited shops in Monteverde, La Fortuna, Tamarindo & Nosara- this one is by far the best! The owner is welcoming and warm & really the reason why we love traveling here.

Best prices on locally made jewelry in Nosara! I adore the necklace I got and would probably have bought a swimsuit had there been one in my color. Affordable swimsuits, handmade by local Costa Rican women. Everything is handmade. The owner, Tere does the gem wrapping herself and is so kind and welcoming. This is a must see and isn’t just a good store to know— but also a good person!

I came to Nosara for a week am staying a month or two. I desperately needed another bathing suit top and had gone to EVERY SINGLE SHOP in Guiones with zero prospects. I didn't even see one I would bother trying on; a small triangle on a string is not enough swimsuit for me. Remarkably Pacifica had more than one option! I was stunned. Thank you Tere! Everything in the shop is made by Costa Rican women. The suit was half the price of the shops in Guiones. And meeting Tere felt like receiving a gift. She's a kind, thoughtful, and welcoming person with a beautiful family. I wanted to sit down and stay the day. Pacifica is a lovely store with gorgeous jewelry, art, ceramics, clothes and more. I am so grateful to Tere for making the rest of my time in Nosora so much more pleasant. SHOP HERE!
