La Sfida opened in June 2026 on Španićeva ulica, one of the narrow stone lanes threading through Korčula's Old Town. It's a wine and snack bar, not a restaurant: the list runs through Croatian wines by the glass, paired with local small bites rather than a full dinner menu.
Doors open at 5pm and close at midnight, evenings only. It's shut on Saturdays, the one night the rest of the Old Town gets loud. Local Instagram guides had already flagged it as one of the town's new wine-bar openings within its first few weeks.

A true hidden gem in the heart of Korčula Old Town! We stopped by for a wine tasting and had a fantastic experience. The owner was incredibly friendly, genuinely knowledgeable, and gave us a wonderful introduction to the local wines and Korčula's wine traditions. You can really tell he has a passion for what he does. The place itself is cosy and inviting, with great music and a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. If you're looking to discover excellent local wines in a welcoming setting, I highly recommend La Sfida!

We visited La Sfida wine bar yesterday, Igor the owner gave us a wine tasting and was so passionate and insightful. We had a charcuterie tasting board and the croquettes which were a knock out. Igor was very attentive and super accomodating, we had a small rain shower and everyone moved inside which was cosy , but got everyone talking to each other. We had such a fun time here and loved all the wines. Highly recommend a visit!

Amazing local wine bar. The waiters are so friendly and the wine is the best in the region. Highly recommend to anyone staying in korcula old town!
