Deluxe Bar runs its lounge on Plaza San Juan de Dios, one of the old town's four historic squares. Locals half-joke it's “the thermometer” for whether the city is out and about, and it's built a reputation as the barometer for a good weekend night.

Themed nights and reserved tables aim squarely at a younger crowd rather than the plaza's usual daytime tourist traffic. It's one of the most-followed nightlife venues in the city.
