A ten-room hotel bar built into Nicosia's Venetian Walls

This bar sits inside a building the Church bought in 1998 and left derelict for 25 years, walled into the Old City's Venetian fortifications. Thanos Hotels restored it into a ten-room boutique hotel, pouring drinks from 10am to midnight, later than most cocktail bars bother.

Amyth Kouzina's courtyard restaurant sits right next door, but the bar stays small on purpose. Ten rooms, one bar, built around the Old City instead of trying to outshine it.
