The roaster sits right in the window on Ostružnická

Kafe Kodó is a small roastery and café in Olomouc's old town, where you can watch the beans roast on a Toper machine through the glass. It works through about twenty single origin arabicas and four house blends.

Beyond serving coffee, the shop sells beans and gear, and runs training sessions for home roasters. The room is small, so the focus stays on the coffee itself.

I wanted a quality flat white at a reasonable price. I went through the city and reviews and ended up here both days. Roastery and quality coffee on the stand. It was always lively and the atmosphere was nice. I also bought coffee home and will use their online shop in the future. Great value for money.
