Etta opened in 2025 on Ny Adelgade with a tight menu: five schiacciata options, a thin, crisp Italian focaccia-style bread, at 90 kroner each, plus matcha slush for something colder.
The format keeps things fast and cheap by Indre By standards, closer to a Florence lunch counter than the sit-down Italian restaurants that dominate the same few blocks.

My wife, daughter and I had sandwiches at Etta today. Sandwiches were good and you could taste the quality ingredients. But what I wanted to post and highlight today was the exemplary service provided by the staff. In some cases you experience places you want to return to, not only due to the quality of the food - but also to support the establishment that clearly have hired people that care and goes above and beyond. Don't expect an italian sandwich in Copenhagen to be as filled as one in Tuscany, but this is as perfect as it can get outside Italy.

Visited this place about 2 months ago. The food was decent, nothing special. The service felt a bit off though; the staff didn’t seem very available and the attitude wasn’t the best.

This was one of the best things I ate in Copenhagen. Bread is baked fresh, ingredients are minimal and high quality and their pesto was perfect. Super hospitable people and great service. Loved it.
