Loja's rooftop boom, with a $10 cover and DJs to prove it

Skip the ground-floor bars and head up to Plaza del Farol, where Soho Rooftop Experience opened with a $10 cover and a night built for cocktails and music. The sight lines over this part of Loja are the draw once you're past the door.

There's a full food menu here too, not just drinks, and DJs keep the rooftop going past midnight on weekends. It's one of at least three rooftop bars to land in Loja within a year, part of a small boom in elevated nightlife downtown.
