A local coffee shop, not a tourist stop

El Sokaria sits in the residential streets south of central Luxor, pouring tea and coffee and keeping the shisha coals going for a crowd that's almost entirely local.

You won't find it on any glossy top ten list. It just keeps the same regulars coming back, which says more than a listicle ever could in a city that mostly serves visitors passing through.

  Service was very attentive. Had tea and lattes, also shisha. Everything was delicious and price was very reasonable. Just 8EP for a tea.
