People give directions by this shop. Adane sits on Giorgis Road in central Bahir Dar and does what many Ethiopian cities miss: a store built around books rather than stationery and photocopying.

The shelves mix Amharic and English titles, from schoolbooks to Ethiopian literature. It is a small operation, so do not expect the range of an Addis Ababa bookshop.
