Blue Bar sits in Kezira and carries a rating close to five stars, rare for a bar in a city this size. It's part of the borough's nightlife circuit, tables loud and full most nights.

Kezira was the original railway town here, built up with French-era architecture before Dire Dawa grew around it. That history gives its bars a different feel from Megala's older market district across the river. Go for the crowd, not the drinks list.

This is my spot and I had a wonderful time and mate a lot of beautiful dire Dawa people and the owner is so hospitable so as the bar tenders .., if you want to have the test of the queen of desert Dire Dawa this is the place to go ! It’s in downtown just north of the old train station !

Really cool place to have a beer or two. Next to the Railway station, so it is a good option to relax after visiting a museum. The owner is very kind, and he speaks good English, so he can give some advises where to go, what to see. Overall, great bar with special vibe. We loved it.
