Thursday nights and a deep whiskey list in Mekelle

Thursday is the night to know about. Vero Lounge builds it around guest DJs and an Instagram promo push that starts days ahead, with a crowd that shows up dressed for it.

The whiskey and cocktail list runs deeper than most bars in Mekelle bother with, aimed at young professionals more than the university crowd. Weekend tables go fast, so call ahead.

Vero Lounge is easily one of the best spots in Mekelle. The food was excellent, well prepared, and full of flavor. The service was professional and genuinely welcoming, and the atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed. It’s a great place to unwind, meet friends, or enjoy a good meal. Highly recommendable,
