Raiwai's real coffee spot, not a downtown stop
Skip the Victoria Parade café cluster. Malo Café sits inside the Garden City complex in Raiwai, far enough out that it works as the neighbourhood's own coffee shop rather than a tourist stop. Cakes, sandwiches and hot meals back up a coffee-forward menu.
It's part of a small chain, but this is the branch that keeps turning up in local coffee-shop roundups.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The food is absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. All the staff are friendly and are very welcoming with the biggest smiles. I came for coffee and have returned for breakfast and lunch.

As an Australian this place comes close to a bloody good flat white. The Brewster makes good coffee. If you're in Suva and need coffee this is the place to be. Friendly staff and great serving of food. Very generous actually.

Don’t be fooled by the neutral atmosphere. The Food and Service we received was a 10/10 and please try the mushroom soup! It’s bloody delicious!! Definitely going back 🫠❤️

Their new menu is huge with a lot to choose from. Tried their steak, roast chicken, and chicken with cashew salad, all were delicious! Food is pretty good, well seasoned and packed with flavor. Love their lemon iced tea. Staff are friendly, too. However, Should go on a lazy weekend or when one is not in a rush as their food takes quite long to arrive.
