A living-room-style lounge that opened on Boxing Day 2024, named for its own street

UP Bar & Lounge, short for Uusi Pakkahuone, opened on December 26, 2024, taking its name directly from the street section it sits on rather than reaching for anything more abstract. The bar built its interior around a living-room feel rather than a typical bar layout, low seating and a deliberately unhurried pace over standing-room crowds.

The menu runs tapas and bar food alongside cocktails, wine and beer, positioned as a place to settle in for a few hours rather than a quick stop between other plans. Since opening it's become one of the newer names locals mention for a relaxed evening out, distinct from the louder cocktail-bar format found elsewhere downtown.
