Nook Lounge opened inside Hotel Santa Claus in central Rovaniemi in September 2025, one of the newest additions to a hotel that has run its Gaissa restaurant upstairs since 2002. The concept is built around a living-room feel rather than a standard hotel bar, a fireplace, soft seating, low light, somewhere to sit rather than stand.
Craft cocktails are the focus, in a city where most bars still lean on beer and basic mixed drinks aimed at tour groups passing through. Being under a year old, it hasn't built up the review history of the restaurants around it yet, but it fills a gap in central Rovaniemi's evening options that had mostly been hotel lobby bars until now.

Had a lovely evening at Nook Lounge in Rovaniemi with a friend. The atmosphere is super cozy, the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and welcome. Cocktails were very tasty, and the snacks were good. The bartenders are absolutely perfect at what they do and incredibly friendly on top of it. Special shout-out to the duty manager and Kujtim, both were super nice and genuinely attentive. Highly recommend Nook Lounge for a relaxed night out with great drinks, good bites, and top-notch service.

Best croissant that I ever had. Fresh lettuce tomato not to mention the anchovies. I love the breakfast.

Really friendly place:) ate inside, with our :) Food came fast and was really delicious 🤤 everyone should try it! Cocktail was also really good 😊
