Bubble tea has caught on fast with younger Gambians the last couple of years, and Bubbles Cafe is riding that wave in Serekunda. Milkshakes, smoothies and classic tapioca-pearl bubble tea fill the menu. It's aimed squarely at teens and twenty-somethings, not the older market crowd a few streets over.

It's a small casual counter, not a sit-down cafe. Think of it as a stop on the way somewhere, not a destination for an afternoon.
