Mezze plates and espresso martinis by the Schmuckplatz

Small orientally inspired plates, natural wine and espresso martinis fill the room next door to Corner, the café that's been a Linden-Nord fixture for years. Same owner, same corner, different hours.

Pasan Milisic turned what used to be a to go counter into a proper evening bar. Go for the mezze, stay for the cocktails, and grab a table close to the Schmuckplatz if you can.

The food and drinks left a mixed impression: While the drinks were impressive, the food unfortunately didn't live up to the same standard and came across as rather cheap. The service also contributed to a less than positive overall impression. It seemed unprofessional and inattentive. Furthermore, it was very inconvenient that the restrooms weren't located in the restaurant itself, but next door in an apartment building. Absolutely unacceptable was the fact that the owner's dog was running freely around the restaurant. Overall, the price-performance ratio was unfortunately completely off.
