Right on the Travemünde seafront, Tellerwerk swapped out the old French brasserie format for something looser: Nordic, seasonal cooking that leans on Baltic fish and regional produce. The menu changes often, so what you get depends on the catch.

Walk-ins are welcome and the mood is more casual than the hotel restaurant it replaced. Come for the sea view, stay for a short menu that actually shifts with the season.

Creative menu, nice variety and very good quality. Service was very friendly but a bit slow and awkward. We sat outside, but lights were not turned on after dark, so we felt a bit unwelcome.

Very good food and great service! It was an uncomplicated, most enjoyable evening in a relaxing atmosphere. The menu offered many interesting options from different German regions -- well executed, but rather big portions! The recommended wine fit quite well with the food. I can only recommend the place -- and making a reservation beforehand!
