DORMERO Hotel Weimar

Ninety themed rooms named for Weimar's own
Skip the Altstadt crowds. This one sits in the quieter northern part of Weimar, built more for business trips than postcard shots.
Ninety rooms make up the hotel, each themed and named for a well known Weimar figure. It's a solid base if you want space from the tourist center without giving up comfort.

Beautifully and practically furnished rooms. We booked a very large room because of our dogs. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can easily walk your dog right from the hotel. We've stayed there three times already, each time for two to three nights at a time, with our two large dogs. Highly recommended!

This was my third stay there, and overall, there's nothing to complain about. It's very clean, the rooms are lovely, and there's even a small minibar. Given the intense heat, it would certainly be very nice if the rooms were air-conditioned; that would definitely make sleeping much easier. For my last day, I had booked breakfast, and Mrs. Hildesheim (thank you again!) went to great lengths to prepare a wonderful breakfast for us. And what can I say? It was a fantastic breakfast!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, as my vocational school is right next door, and I always enjoy coming back. I especially appreciate the service. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I've felt particularly well taken care of by Ms. Hildesheim with any requests I've had; she's always ready to listen, understanding, and attentive to guests' needs. You can really tell she enjoys her job. The other staff members are also always friendly, respectful, and helpful. Check-in and check-out are very easy. The rooms are modernly furnished and have everything you need. There's a large TV, a refrigerator, and a balcony. While the hotel is located a bit outside of Weimar, the good bus connections make it easy to get around. The location is perfect for vocational school students, as the school is right next door. The hotel also offers a large, free parking lot. Overall, I feel very comfortable at this hotel and that's why I always enjoy returning. Anyone who is here for vocational school or is looking for a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city will find this place ideal.
