ARKET's first Greek store, right beside the Kapnikarea church on Ermou

Scandinavian minimalism just landed on Athens' busiest shopping street. ARKET's first Greek store sits at Kapnikareas 8, exactly where Ermou meets the tiny Byzantine church of Kapnikarea, and local press treated the opening like a flagship arrival rather than another chain unit.

It's a full lifestyle store: clothing for men, women and children, plus the homeware line. A COS opened next door a month later, and together they've pulled Ermou's center of gravity toward Monastiraki. The ARKET Café is coming too, a little behind the shop floor.
