GrayMatter leans hard into its name. Every room runs on a nature theme, with lampshades and fittings meant to evoke Guyana's forests and the mining-scarred land around Linden. It's worth the trip for the concept alone, not just the drinks.

It sits in Christianburg, across the river from the busier Mackenzie strip, which keeps things quieter than the bars on Blueberry Hill. There's nothing else quite like it in the area.
