Indian plates by day, cocktails and karaoke by night

The corner of Main and Church Street had burned through restaurants before Eclipse took it over. Now it runs a dining room serving Indian and continental plates until 9pm, then flips into a lounge with handcrafted cocktails, mocktails and a wine list.

Thursday nights belong to karaoke, and the space doubles as a venue for birthdays and corporate parties. New Amsterdam's nightlife had gone quiet for a while. This corner is loud again.

Good to know

• Dining hours end at 9pm, arrive earlier if you want food with your cocktails.
• Thursday nights are karaoke; the lounge fills up fast.
