Cold beer and family vibes behind Hotel Muñoz

Skip the Zona Viva crowds. This bar-and-grill in Barrio La Esperanza is the neighborhood version of a night out, cold beer at a fair price and a room built for hanging out with family, not clubbing.

It relaunched a while back under a self-declared grand reopening, though nobody's pinned an exact date on it. The vibe stayed the same: low-key, unpretentious, closer to the corner spots downtown than the strip a few blocks away.
