Jordanian home cooking on a small Ráday utca counter

WARD opened on Ráday utca in September 2025, cooking Jordanian food in a city that had almost none. Mansaf, mezze and grilled plates come off a short menu, and the portions assume you have not eaten since breakfast.

The room is tiny and the operation is family-scale, so service runs at its own pace. It sits among the newer independent kitchens that have taken over the lower end of the street.

The best Mediterranean restaurant in Budapest! I ordered a cheese dish, and it was absolutely perfect. The cheese was incredibly fresh, rich, and full of flavor, with a wonderfully creamy texture that melted in my mouth, also they offerd me a free cup of tea. Special thanks to Jony for the excellent service!

Amazing authentic food, the first bite took me back to Jordan. Tried everything on the menu and one item is tastier than the other. I can only recommend the place🥰

Tried the mana'eesh wraps, zaatar and cheese, lahm bi ajin, and knafeh. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the zaatar wrap and the knafeh. Portions were decent, and the prices felt fair for the quality. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was simple and welcoming. Overall, a nice spot for a quick Levantine meal, and I'd come back to try more items.

Had the maqloubeh and the kebab sandwich and both were really good! We also tried the halawet jebt for dessert and it was delicious! Definitely recommend visiting this place
