Chapter One

A slow-read bar on Lajpat Marg
Chapter One trades the rushed-counter routine for shelves of books and afternoons that stretch on. It sits right next to Crazy Coffee on Lajpat Marg, which makes for a genuinely competitive stretch of pavement.
It was one of the Jaipur openings everyone kept posting about in April 2026. Skip the buzz and go on a weekday afternoon for the quiet version instead.

Had a great experience! The food was delicious, the coffee was amazing, and the staff were friendly. Cozy atmosphere—would definitely visit again

The place is simple and doesn’t demand your attention which feels refreshing for a change because every other cafe/restaurant in Jaipur lately have started to feel the same. Their food and coffee are okay, they can do better. Nice staff - helpful. The environment is peaceful - can sit their and work all day.

The best coffee I’ve had in India, and honestly up there with the best coffee I’ve ever had! Strong and richly flavoured, plus they have a great oat milk. We went back three times during our stay in Jaipur. The cafe itself is really lovely - beautiful art, chill music, nice seating, and lovely staff. The open plan kitchen looks super clean too and the food is fresh and nice. The chai is just ok but oh man the coffee is so good.

It was a beautiful evening at the cafe with animal advocate friends from Taiwan and Jaipur! Thank you for creating the space and welcoming us to try your newly launched menu curated by Chef Varun 🤤🤗 Specially the pistachio dessert is yum. I was looking forward to it the most haha!

A new cafe in C scheme. It's located on the second floor of the building, and you need to climb two flights of stairs to reach. Street parking is available around. The cafe has beautiful art displayed, with theme of Jaipur and Indian crafts and motifs. The menu is all vegetarian, plant-based and they have somehow succeeded in making healthy food taste good. The staff and service are both great. I would recommend this cafe for a different, cozy experience. Please do get a reservation before you go as they have limited seating and events happening frequently.
