Farro

★ 4.6 · 252 reviews Pune Opened February 2025

A short menu built entirely on grains and house bread

Farro keeps it small on purpose. Old grains, house-baked bread, and barely anything else on the menu, which is exactly the point. The bread programme carries the whole place.

This reads like a heritage bistro rather than a Mediterranean one, and that restraint is what makes it work. The room is tiny, so lunch is a far easier table to land than dinner.

Farro, you are as stunning as the name. This place was decided to be visited in the glimpse of a second. We were three women. We entered, confused deciding where to sit and the manager immediately gave us the best seating without hesitating for a second. Next came in the servers, Farro has an experimental Indian and Middle Eastern menu (which they are nailing by the way) compliments to the chef and the owner. So as I was saying, the servers, they really love their job, all of them were so so attentive and knew exactly what they are doing, starting from explaining the food to changing plates without even having to ask. We asked for the barkeeper and he made us a beautiful hibiscus picante on our request which turned out to be brilliant. What set everything apart is their service and hospitality. The entire unit is such a team! The management is brilliant and all of them go an extra way to make your night even more beautiful. The miso ice cream is *chef’s kiss* . All of India needs to visit this place and business and hospitality owners need to learn and take tips from them on their service and hospitality. The entire restaurant and the team is always brimming with joy. Will definitely be back for more. This place is a vision come alive and the entire management is making it come true. 🤍

Usually, I don’t write reviews, but the service at Farro made me do it. I recently went there for dinner and absolutely loved the food, the presentation, and the way the staff explained each dish. Their knowledge and attention to detail truly enhanced the dining experience. I ordered a drink that was beautifully presented, but personally, it wasn’t to my taste. That doesn’t mean the drink wasn’t good—it simply wasn’t something I enjoyed. What really stood out was that the staff noticed I hadn’t finished my drink and came over to check if there was anything they could do to improve it or even replace it. That level of attentiveness genuinely surprised me. It made me realize that Farro is not just another restaurant that serves food and moves on. They genuinely care about their guests’ experience and whether they enjoy what’s being served. The entire team made me feel that they are passionate about what they do and serve every dish with care and love. Experiences like these are what make a restaurant truly memorable.

We tried the Sunday brunch at Farro. We had booked a table in advance, so had no trouble getting a table. Valet parking is available. The place is very beautifully done up, however, the outdoor seating may get hot in the summer months (despite good coolers they have). The staff is very courteous, service is impeccable. We opted for the set menu for brunch. Turkish/ Mediterranean cuisine was something we hadn’t explored in its full capacity in Pune, and Farro didn’t disappoint. The menu had a large variety of dips, breads, condiments, accompaniments- each unique in taste, presentation and flavour. As a vegetarian- I was thrilled about the options I had! Portion sizes were small- but you could ask for refills as part of the set brunch menu. It is certainly a bit on the pricier side- the set menu cost ₹2350/-, and if you wanted to add beer, it was an additional ₹800/-. But I would certainly say it is worth a visit- the food quality was superb, plating and hospitality up to the mark, and very unique flavours.

Had almost 5-6 dishes. It is a fine dine restarent with quantity per serving sufficient for 2. Crowd is very good here. Taste will depend on person to person and mood. I like to have these kind of fusion dishes. Good for couple android lovers. Might feel a bit heavy on pocket.

Visited Farro yesterday with my husband and our baby, and we had a really nice experience. The ambience is beautiful and very peaceful, perfect for spending quality time . The food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff was polite and the overall vibe of the place was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also explained about Farro and the dishes, which made the experience even more interesting for us. Even with a baby, we felt very comfortable and relaxed there. Overall, it was a lovely outing for our family. Definitely worth visiting! ⭐😊
