South of France wine and cheese, dropped into Kuta's busiest restaurant strip

Indra Sasak and Melissa opened Simonetta on June 6, 2024, on Jalan Raya Kuta, a few doors from KRNK, in the row that's become Kuta Lombok's tightest cluster of restaurants.

The menu stays close to its reference point: wine, olives, cheese boards, instead of spreading into a wider European menu. It's a quieter, wine-first room next to the burger bars and pool clubs, built for dinner rather than all day.

We had lunch with my girlfriend here and it was amazing. We both took the Octopus for starter and the Tuna for main dish. It was very fresh and tasty, we just loved it. To drink I took the mocktail Olala which was also amazing. Same for the Lava Cake I’m dessert… The staff is very kind, the place is beautiful and not overpriced at all. I can just 100% recommend you to go.

One of the best places to eat in Kuta, waiters are really nice and speak good english. I have a lot of allergies and they took care of me very well. Definitely recommend!

Great food, great atmosphere, and lovely service. I really enjoyed the Handmade Ravioli Forest & Cream and the Classic Tiramisu. The Ice Strawberry Matcha was also surprisingly refreshing and well-balanced. Definitely one of the places I’d happily return to when visiting Kuta Lombok.

We came to Simonetta on a Wednesday midday for lunch. We ordered the duck breast and the tuna steak, and both were great. The space is lovely and it was nice and quiet that day, which made for a relaxed experience. The service was also quick and efficient. Thank you!
